A 10-man group from the ”Joy Missions for the Disabled” (JMD)met with NCDA Team of TCD Chief Nelia R. De Jesus, RPCs Flerida Labanon and Ruth Tacujan, for a briefing on the Council’s mandates and programs.
The meeting kicked off the visitors’’ field visits to Gen. Pio del Pilar SPED Center in Makati and Hospicio de San Jose in Manila, joined by Ms/ Labanon, TCD Project Evaluation Officer- Reginaldo Tolentino and TCD Staff Precious Horvidalla. The visits greatly inspired the JMD officials on their plan to set up 2 similar centers in Quezon City and Tagaytay for children with intellectual disabilities and orphans.
