On September 4, 2023, National Council on Disability Executive Director Joniro G. Fradejas, represented by Atty. Walter Jason G. Alava (Regional Programs Coordinator) and MJ Dela Pena (MIS, Chief) was invited by the Department of Science and Technology – Metals Industry Research and Development Center headed by Executive Director Robert O. Dizon. He was represented by the Deputy Executive Director Agustin M. Fudolig.

They discussed about the recruitment and accessibility for persons with disabilities.
