League of Persons with Disability Affairs Officer in the Philippines (LPDAOP) in Partnership with National Council on Disability Affairs conducted the 2nd Regional Person’s with Disability Summit. The 3-day conference was held in Negros Residences, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental  from May 24 to 26 , 2023.

Some of the topic discussed during the  1st day of the summit were: Implementation of DILG MC No. 4 series 2021, Good Practices, Challenges and Recommendations; Coordination Mechanisms in Program Implementation and Social Service Delivery Involving Persons with Disabilities in Region 6; and Current Initiatives on the regional Implementation of Accessibility Law. The discussion was followed by a Workshop on creating a situational analysis of PDAO operations in the region.
