The Philippines as an active participant to the annual Global Information Technology Challenge (GITC) for Youth with Disabilities joined once more this year in a hybrid format. The final round was facilitated in Yeouido Glad Hotel in South Korea.

This year, this Philippines won a total of five gold medals and three bronze medals.

The competition strengthened the capability of youth with disabilities. In preparation for the GITC, the participants attended the 2nd National IT Boot Camp that was staged in partnership with the with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National Youth Commission.

The awarding was held online via zoom last November 16, 2022.
