Final call… (Deadline: October 30, 2019)

Are you a Filipino graphic artist or layout artist (with or without disabilities)? You might be interested to join the NCDA Logo Design Contest!

NCDA is looking for a new LOGO for its expansion facility, the Disability Resource and Development Center (DRDC). DRDC envisions to be a one-stop shop that will advance the rights of persons with disabilities to physical environment and information and communications technology (ICT).

Please see contest mechanics for details:

1. Open to all Filipinos with or without disabilities.
2. Contest Duration: July 17 to December 3, 2019.
3. Only one (1) entry per participant and entry is composed of
the following:
– Logo design (graphic – digital)
– Logo should be accompanied by a narrative description
of no more than 500 words with its elements and
meaning.
4. Logo should reflect the theme: “Accessibility, Information
and Enablement of Persons with Disabilities”.
5. All entries should be submitted on or before October 30,
2019 at 12:00 Noon, together with the participant’s name,
address and contact numbers.
6. Entries should be in digital format and at least 600 dpi with
a file extension of .JPG and sent to council@ncda.gov.ph,
with Subject Title: “DRDC Logo Design Contest”.
7. By joining the contest, participant declares that submitted
logo is his/her original work, any complaint that may arise
on the authenticity of work should be the responsibility of
the participant to prove the authenticity of the logo
submitted. All entries submitted shall be the property of
NCDA.
8. The logo making contest shall be judged by DRDC Core
Group, NCDA Officials based on the following criteria:
– Concept – 40%
– Visual Appeal / Impact – 30%
– Originality – 30%.
9. Winning entry shall be revealed during the International Day
of Persons with Disabilities in December 2019.
10. The winner shall be informed through registered mail,
email and telephone/mobile numbers from NCDA.
11. NCDA shall have the exclusive rights to the winning logo
design, and reserves the right to its use in official
correspondences and publications on any form of visual
media. NCDA reserves the right to further refine or make
improvements and changes on the final artwork of the
winning entry.
12. A cash prize of P10,000 and a Plaque of Appreciation
await the winning logo.
