Two awards in a row. NCDA Deputy Executive Director Matt Lee, Jr., turns over to Mr. Ted Kahil, the “2013 A. Mabini Disabled Filipino of the Year”, 6 netbooks and 4 tablets for blind children in Zamboanga. Straight from Malacañang where President Benigno Aquino III honoured him and other Mabini Awardees, he went to NCDA to receive more awards in the form of assistive technology gadgets for young blind college students in Zamboanga enrolled in different universities in Zamboanga. Mr. Kahil works as LGU Zamboanga Social Welfare Officer I. Also with him is his wife Marilyn Olasiman Kahil, Visually Impaired Instructor of Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center III.
