In celebration of the 2013 National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week on July 17 – 23, the National Council on Disability Affairs hereby issues this Announcement on the matter aforesaid. It consists of the following:

LEGAL BASES: Proclamation No. 361 (2000), as amended by Administrative Order No. 35 (2002).

A sub-theme was also developed as part of the Department of Justice’s activity entitled “Patatagin ang Karapatan sa Katarungan ng Mga Taong May Kapansanan.” This was agreed on to give emphasis on having access to justice by persons with disabilities in order for them to be part of an inclusive society.
